Milam County Railroad Museum’s ‘Train Show!’
On Saturday April 18th at ‘The Venue at Railfan’ on main street
across from the courthouse in Cameron Texas.
9am to 4pm is full of vendors, museum visitors,
awesome layouts, and fun.
Admission is $5.00 for adults,
children 18 and younger free with paying adult.
Vendors visiting will be selling and swapping various scales
of train items.
Museums visiting include:
Hearne Heritage Depot Museum
Rockdale I&GN Depot Museum
Eagle Lake Depot Museum
Friends of the LaGrange Railroad Depot
San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum
Deanville Heritage Foundation Depot
Layouts you can expect to see are:
Brazos Valley Model Railroad Club featuring HO Scale train layout.
San Antonio Railroad Heritage Museum featuring G scale or Garden size. “big enough to run outside and withstand cats!”
Texas Brick Railroad featuring LEGO. A major hit last year and worth seeing again this year.
Junior Engineer Camp layout from the last two years of camps will have an HO train running through their master pieces.
We hope to have you visit and enjoy a day of trains, raffle and door prizes as we support this fundraiser for nonprofit

Our second Cameron Train Show is in the books. Every aspect of the show was better than last years. There were lots of positive comments and the vendors sold a lot of model train equipment. As always, the train layouts were a huge hit with the over 150 kids attending and participating in our new kid friendly activities. Pictured here are the Directors and volunteers from the Rockdale I&GN Depot, Eagle Lake Depot, LaGrange Depot, Hearne Depot, Deanville Depot, San Antonio Railroad Museum and the Milam County Railroad Museum. We have forged strong friendships with these amazing folks to promote the preservation of Railroad history in Texas. We have made a commitment to expand our outreach to all Texas Railroad Museums and Depots in our State in the coming months and years. I want to thank our new Education Director Ashley Prine and all of our volunteers, parents of our Jr. Engineers and our Railroad Museum Association members for their help today. We are truly blessed by their help and our community support

We want to also shout out to our Door prize sponsors at the Milam County Train show. We were able to give away door prizes every 15 minutes and boy the prizes were really cool. We understand that the downtown businesses were really busy Saturday too. It was great to see so many cars around the court house with people having fun at the train show and shopping and eating on the Square.
