Milam County Railroad Museum Support Group
THE MILAM COUNTY RAILROAD MUSEUM ASSOCIATION
The Association (MCRMA) was established in 2024 as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. The purpose of the MCRMA is to support and advocate for the Milam County Railroad Museum and the Old Town Cameron display. The Association strives to assist the Museum to create a deep appreciation for Milam County’s rich railroad heritage. Preserve and maintain historical artifacts and promote educational opportunities for all ages regarding both railroad history and the Old Town Cameron display. The Association helps ensure the long-term sustainability of the Railroad Museum and the Old Town Cameron display through fundraising, securing grants, and partnering with other organizations and stakeholders.
The Association is self-governed by a Board of Directors elected by the MCRMA Members. The Board shall consist of nine MCRMA members elected by MCRMA all of whom must maintain membership in MCRMA pursuant to its bylaws. The Board attempts to include members from every community in Milam County. The Officers consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary. The Board meets the fourth Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 6:30PM, Milam County Railroad Museum Classroom, 110 W. 1st Street, Cameron, Texas 76520.
Dues for membership of the Milam County Railroad Museum Association are $25 paid yearly.
