Camp Registration Form

I, the above-named parent or guardian, agree for my child, named above, to participate in the 2019 Milam County Railroad Museum Jr. Engineer Camp. I understand the camp will involve class room style instruction, hands-on demonstrations and opportunities, and field trips.

I agree that the camp sessions will be at the Milam County Railroad Museum, 101 West First Street, Cameron, Texas and I agree to have my camper present at that site no later than 9:00 am on each morning of the camp and I agree to pick up my camper at 12:00 noon each morning.

I understand that part of the camp may involve the use of modeling power tools and that such use will be moderated and determined by the camp instructor based on his assessment of my camper’s skill level and ability to operate the tool safely.

I understand that the Museum will provide safety glasses and nitrile gloves as needed.

I understand my camper may be exposed typical modeling supplies as paints, glues and adhesives, Styrofoam, extruded foam, sifted dirt and gravels, chalks, plywood, various inert metals, etc.

I agree that the primary means of communication for coordination and various camp instructions will be via email unless I make other arrangements with the camp staff.

I acknowledge that: *

the last day of the camp may be a field trip to Taylor, Texas to ride the Amtrak Train from Taylor, to Temple, Texas and agree for my child to participate in that trip. I understand the hours for that day will be longer. Further, I understand parents may also participate, but at their own cost of approximately $10 (subject to change) per adult.
